This event location is a school. The pathways to the search areas are paved, gravel, or grass. There are ramp options with some steps. The search areas are on level ground. There will be long walks to some search areas. Depending on search area placements, there may be a driving option. There are stairs and a ramp for elevation changes. The stairs and ramp might not be near to each other which can impact how one gets to the start line. There may be one or two single steps into the building or a step up at a curb in some locations. Not all these have handrails.
Due to unforeseen conditions, such as weather or change in availability of areas at the location, these conditions may be modified at the last minute.
Females in season will be allowed to run wearing “pants” at the end of each search after all other dogs have been judged. Handlers with females in season should park and toilet their dogs away from the other dogs if the location logistics permit. Handlers must email the Trial Host Contact (see above) so plans can be made for the dog.
